HP Sprocket is Printing with White Diagonal Lines Down the Paper [Solved]

If the HP Sprocket prints white diagonal lines down the paper, follow these guidelines to fix the issue.

  • Power on the HP Sprocket and wait until it initializes.
  • Inspect the photo paper for defects. If there are bent, torn, or wrinkled sheets, remove them from the stack.
  • Load the colored card at the bottom of the photo paper stack with its barcode facing down on the paper tray.
  • Place the paper tray cover and then, send a print job from the mobile device.
  • The HP Sprocket calibrates the paper path rollers which is followed by cleaning with the colored card. Then, the photo is printed by the Sprocket.
  • If this, doesn’t solve the issue, perform a firmware upgrade on the Sprocket from your mobile device. Power off the Sprocket.
  • Remove the paper cover and photo paper. Move the paper path rollers forward and backward multiple times. Perform the step calibration step once again. If the diagonal line issue persists, contact HP Customer Support.

    COPYING COMES OUT BLANK [SOLVED]

  • The photocopy that you have printed from the Sprocket comes out blank if you have not set the photo paper on the device. If the logo on the sheet is not facing downward, then there is a chance of a blank copy.
  • To resolve the issue, make sure you switch off the device.
  • Slide the top cover from the device’s output slot. Place the lid in a secure place to avoid damage.
  • Check if you have placed set the photo paper properly. There are chances that the sheets might be placed in a sliding manner.
  • Take the photo paper out of the device and tap it on a flat surface to align them properly. You need to place them in such a way that they are firmly secured.
  • Keep a colored Smart sheet below the paper stack and make sure that the bar code on the photo paper faces downwards.
  • Discard the colored sheet until you are done with all the loaded sheets.
  • Place the top cover over the device and check if you have aligned the edges properly.
  • Slide them to secure it firmly with your device.
  • Once you have completed the procedure, switch on the Sprocket to perform the print job and check if the issue persists.
