HP Sprocket is Printing with White Diagonal Lines Down the Paper [Solved]

If the HP Sprocket prints white diagonal lines down the paper, follow these guidelines to fix the issue.

  • Power on the HP Sprocket and wait until it initializes.

  • Load the colored card at the bottom of the photo paper stack with its barcode facing down on the paper tray.
  • Place the paper tray cover and then, send a print job from the mobile device.
  • The HP Sprocket calibrates the paper path rollers which is followed by cleaning with the colored card. Then, the photo is printed by the Sprocket.
  • If this, doesn’t solve the issue, perform a firmware upgrade on the Sprocket from your mobile device. Power off the Sprocket.
  • Remove the paper cover and photo paper. Move the paper path rollers forward and backward multiple times. Perform the step calibration step once again. If the diagonal line issue persists, contact HP Customer Support.
